Did you know…The Paramount Theatre opened in 1928 as the Seattle Theatre?
Restored in 1995 at the cost of $20 million dollars, The Paramount Theatre has been brought back to its original splendor, just as Seattle audiences would have experienced it as they passed through the doors for the first time on March 1st, 1928. Please meet in front of the main entrance of the theatre – on the corner of 9th and Pine – by 10 am. The tours will last approximately 90 minutes and will be lead by members of our well-versed volunteer staff.

Get in free to the Seattle Art Museum the first Thursday of every month. The first Friday of every month is free to seniors (age 62 ), and the second Friday of every month from 5 to 9 p.m. is free to teens (ages 13-19) with ID.

Admission to the Seattle Asian Art Museum is free on the first Thursday of each month for everyone. The first Friday of every month is free for seniors 62 and over. And the first Saturday of every month is free for families. Volunteer Park nearby is also free.

Gain insights into the customary courtship ritual of ball tossing and participate in flower cloth sessions. The Lunar New Year is a time for the Hmong people to reflect on the past year and seek out new beginnings.
