Since 1978, Refugee Resettlement Office has helped thousands of people. More than half of those helped are children.
The Refugee Resettlement Office is a non-profit agency which provides immediate shelter, food and clothing to hundreds of refugees each year when they first arrive in the Seattle area. Our clients come from countries throughout the world who are fleeing war, political oppresion and religious persecution. We assist in cultural adjustment, language, and the basics of day-to-day living. Our employment program helps many individuals obtain living-wage jobs and move promptly off the welfare rolls. We annually place an average of 300 people in new jobs.
While affiliated with the Diocese of Olympia, we do not discriminate in any way regarding the provisions of services. Our volunteers, staff and contributors - like those to whom we provide services - come from diverse religious, ethnic and national backgrounds.
Ways You Can Donate
The Refugee Resettlement Office does not ask for fees for most of the services we provide. Our office depends on the generosity of individuals in the community, like you, to provide items for refugees in need.
Household Items for Incoming Families
For each incoming refugee family, we provide the following items. If you have any of these supplies that are in good condition, we would appreciate the donation! Your support helps defray the cost for a family. Please contact Marianna at marianna@rroseattle.org to donate or with any questions.
