As a Refugee Resettlement Office volunteer, you are covered by the Diocese of Olympia's liability coverage for any acts of negligence that may occur while performing the volunteer activities assigned to you. This coverage does not apply to the use of your personal auto in connection with performing volunteer activities. The liability coverage includes such incidents as injury to your client or accusations of wrongdoing. In other words, as a volunteer, you are covered for any bodily injury or property damage to others resulting from negigence while within the score of your assigned volunteer activities. Liability is not a guarantee of payments. Each claim is investigated and handled on its own merit.
